Zimbini – Cheetah Sitting

R1 370.00

Height – 21cm (8,3in)

Zimbini, which means ‘number 2’, is a younger but feisty female from the Orange Free State, and in 2017 she turned 2 years old. She is a progeny of a re-wilding programme herself, and thus gives the Gondwana Conservation Foundation real hope for the success of the Cheetah Programme. She is wild and shares the same dedicated reserve with Zera. Her courage and fiery character will hopefully be passed onto her cubs.

Zawadi statuettes are made of cold-cast bronze, which allows us to keep the look and durability of bronze, while reducing the price and weight of the sculpture, which also helps reduce shipping costs.
Our statues are life-like, with great attention to detail and distinctive features.
Cold-cast bronze sculptures are equally valuable as solid bronze statuettes, but are lower in price.

Cold-cast bronze sculpture

Although the cheetah is the fastest animal on earth reaching speeds of around 70 kph, it cannot sustain this for long as it pants heavily and its body temperature can reach 105 deg. Fahrenheit (40 C). The average sprint lasts only around 20 seconds.
