Length = 25cm (10in)

Zera means “seed”, a promising and auspicious name for the success and future of the cheetah population. She was originally from Zululand but kept in captivity for most of her 7 year life before being introduced into Gondwana Game Reserve where she is being re-wilded and given a dedicated reserve with ample space. She is aloof, calm and habituated to people and vehicles, and has the most beautiful amber eyes. She will make a perfect mother to the cubs she will bear.

Zawadi statuettes are made of cold-cast bronze, which allows us to keep the look and durability of bronze, while reducing the price and weight of the sculpture, which also helps reduce shipping costs.
Our statues are life-like, with great attention to detail and distinctive features.
Cold-cast bronze sculptures are equally valuable as solid bronze statuettes, but are lower in price.

Cold-cast bronze sculpture

The Cheetah’s distinctive black stripes, which are tear-shaped, stretch from its eye’s corner to the side of its nose all the way down to the outside of its mouth. The stripes keep the animal from being blinded by sunlight and help it focus on its prey.
