Cold-cast bronze sculpture of a young Zulu woman

Zulu girls are introduced to family chores by first learning how to carry water on their heads in a small gourd at first and then later in a clay pot. A girl learns to carry the gourd on her head by means of braided supports that her mother applies to her head. In the fields, she is taught how to plant and reap the crops and is even given her own hoe when she turns eleven years old.

Zawadi statuettes are made of cold-cast bronze, which allows us to keep the look and durability of bronze, while reducing the price and weight of the sculpture, which also helps reduce shipping costs.
Our statues are life-like, with great attention to detail and distinctive features.
Cold-cast bronze sculptures are equally valuable as solid bronze statuettes, but are lower in price.
